End of Year Liturgy

On Wednesday 8 December, with our College Chaplain, Fr Paddy, we gave thanks to God, marking the end of our 2021 school year with our End of Year Liturgy.
Our Year 10 Student Representative Council members led the liturgy acknowledging God’s presence among us, noting that Christmas is the time of year that helps us to focus on making God’s presence even more present in our daily lives.
Mr Maurie Cummins, our College groundsman and long serving St Vincent de Paul member, thanked the generous Kildare Catholic College community for the gifts and hamper donations collected for the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal.
The Year 10 Student Representative Council members who were inducted and blessed are:
Benedicta House: | Tyrone Vatubuli |
Gandhi House: | Lara Knox |
King House: | Emma Suckling |
Oodgeroo House: | Sebastian McCorry |
Romero House: | Thomas Stephens |
Teresa House: | Eze Emebiri |
A special thanks to Ms Mel Hale who prepared the Year 10 singers, Tyrone Vatubuli, Abbey Anderson and Harry Ceeney, who sang beautifully the carol, ‘Mary Did You Know’ as our Reflection hymn.
We wish everyone a happy and holy Christmas, a relaxing holiday and we look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
Blessings
Christine Savage | Leader of Faith, Formation and Mission
