Principal Message

I took the opportunity at our end of year assemblies to make the following points and record them here at the end of this amazing year.
2021 has been an extraordinary year for us all and I want to firstly thank all families at home for their support of the college as we have worked hard to care for your daughters and sons through so many unique experiences. Of course I thank you the students of Kildare for your resilience and your care for each other whilst keeping your eye in the main game of learning.
You have all grown in many different ways. I’d like you to take a moment at this point of the year to think about how you’ve changed for the better. What goals will you now set for 2022? How will they be different from 2021?
To those who win awards today congratulations. I look forward to seeing other names as you improve and challenge yourself in 2022.
Thank you to all our wonderful staff for the great work done this year providing quality learning both face to face and online through Covid 19 and all the disruption to normal routine it has created. We are blessed with a great staff to serve our community.
I’d particularly like to thank our College Leadership Team of Ms Christie Scutti, Ms Christine Savage, Mr Peter Hunt, Mr Matt Conn, Ms. Alison Sutton, Mr Tom Pulver and Ms. Andrea Blair who provide such inspiring leadership and support. It is a great team to work with and I know they are supported by great teams of coordinators and staff also.
I want to thank everyone for the welcome you have given me this year as your new Principal. This is a special place to be and I know I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else but right here. My wife and I are settled into our new home in Wagga and we look forward to the exciting adventure that awaits us. Thank you for making that so much easier with how open and welcoming you all are.
In the meantime best wishes to all for a happy and holy Christmas. Remember to put others before yourself as we have talked about this year.
