From the Principal

As we head into a much-deserved Christmas break, I wish to thank all the students, parents and staff for your enormous support and encouragement this past year. We have risen to many great heights but on occasion also been reminded of our imperfections and where we need to do better.  We remain a community under continual improvement and a school I am exceptionally proud to be a part of.

I wish Julia Winter Cooke, Pei Tseng, Lou Drummond, Rosanna Marshall, Nathan Ough, Amanda te Boekhorst, Nick Palmer, Jarran Cook, Glenda Lee, Julie Berger and William Winata every happiness as they depart at the College. We thank these wonderful servants for all their love and energy and for all the fabulous memories.  I also wish to acknowledge Marg Simkin for her impressive seventeen years as Head of Library.  Marg has decided to return to her passion for teaching and this week was honoured by being named one of ten Microsoft’s ‘Innovative Educator Fellows’ across Australia. As an MIE Fellow, she is considered a Microsoft Expert! Little wonder we have been in such safe hands all these years.

Please note, our 2021 VCE results will be published next week on Thursday 16 December and the school office closes at lunchtime on Wednesday 22 December. We re-open on Monday 10 January 2022.

I wish all families a peaceful and blessed Christmas and look forward to your company in the New Year.  May love be in your life, may hope be in your hearts and may peace be in our world!
