Semester Two Academic Reports
Semester Two reports will be available to parents via the Compass app on Thursday, 8th December at 3pm. As has been the case for the last few years, the reports will only be available via Compass, paper copies are no longer sent home.
We hope that parents and carers are able to take the time to read these important reports next week in order to celebrate the growth and achievement that all students have made this semester. The written comments from the teachers outline successes in student learning outcomes, as well as future goals that students are able to keep working towards. Please note, semester reports no longer contain a 'General' comment as this is not a requirement from the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
Please feel free to make contact via the Infants or Primary Campus if you require further assistance to access your child’s academic report using Compass.
CPR and First Aid training - Year 6
Report from Rhyarna Turner (6C)
Yesterday, Year 6 participated in a CPR life-saving course where we got the chance to learn the DRSABCD acronym. This is to remember: Danger, Response, Send, Airway, Breathing, CPR and Defibrillator. For our session, we only focused on DRSABC. We got the chance to practice on mannequins to test our skills. We learnt to do 30 compressions and 2 breaths and a full head tilt for adults. Four exceptional students had the best recovery roles and CPR, and they did an outstanding job. They were: Corey, Ebony, Noah, and Jasmine. Our thanks to Cameron McFarlane for taking the time to teach us all about CPR and how to do it!
Shape Poetry in Year 4
Year 4 have had another creative week this week with their poetry writing. They have now moved on to creating Shape poems where the structure and layout of their text mirrors the objects or topics that they are writing about. Look below at some of their excellent examples:
