Clemes

School Photos

Tuesday 7 February - The Farrall Centre

Clemes students are required to be in full Formal School Uniform including blazer and tie (where applicable). We would appreciate all students being neat and tidy for these days and at all times while representing the School. View the Uniform Handbook.

TCE and Year 11 IBDP Subject Changes

Students will not be able to change subjects until Wednesday next week. This is to allow them the time to be in their chosen subjects and make an informed decision. For a subject change to take place now, they must complete a subject change form which will be available from outside the Clemes Office.

Year 12 IB Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Exhibition

Wednesday 8 February

The Farrall Centre from 2pm - 3.30pm

Each student 'curates' an Exhibition linking three real-world 'objects' to a question concerning knowledge. Just a few include: 'Are some types of knowledge more useful than others?', 'How can we know that current knowledge is an improvement upon past knowledge?' and 'Should some knowledge not be sought on ethical grounds?'

Questions and objects relate to just about all subject areas (biology, history, architecture, maths, literature and health just to name a few) and objects include a palawa kani dictionary, a RAT test, geological core samples, and a copy of 'God Save The Queen' by The Sex Pistols. Members of the school community are most welcome to attend.

Parent Secondary Campus School Tours

Tuesday 14 (9am) & Wednesday 15 (1:30pm) February 2023

Join the Director of Community Engagement Bill Avery for a tour of The Friends' School, High School and Clemes Campuses. The tour will include a walk through of our newly developed Revell Sports Centre and WN Oats Centre. We will also visit important meeting rooms, class rooms and social spaces.
