Whole School

Welcome to 2023 at The Friends' School
Welcome to the start of the 2023 school year. A reminder that What's On is sent out every Thursday during term time and will contain important information for parents and students. Please take the time to read the Whole of School section, along with school campus-specific information, as we often place notices that affect multiple campuses.
Road Safety & Compliance
The Friends’ School takes road and traffic safety very seriously and as we commence Term 1, it is important to remind you that keeping people safe around schools is everyone’s responsibility. Understandably, traffic will be busy and we appreciate that there is limited space around our campuses, however, we ask you not to compromise on road safety.
All drivers must travel safely, drive to the road conditions and follow all traffic rules and parking restrictions. In particular, please do not:
- Park over driveways or areas that are not permitted for stopping or parking
- Stop illegally or in the middle of the road to pick up or drop off students
- Right turn into the Morris carpark from Argyle Street or Archer Street.
Pedestrians must use appropriate and designated crossings. Students are not permitted to cross busy roads which may endanger themselves and others.
Please allow additional time to travel to school and if possible, park or stop further away from the campus.
For more information about traffic safety around the School, please visit our website.
Thank you for working together to create a safe and healthy environment for our students, families, staff and the local neighbourhood.
