Eucalyptus Term 4, 2022

The end of the kinder year is always mixed with emotions of excitement and sadness that something lovely is finishing. It's a special year and we have enjoyed sharing the year with you all.

To think we started the year still amid Covid restrictions and during the year it has eased and changed a lot so families were able to come back into the kindergarten and spend time with us. We are so proud of the children and wish them all the best in their transition to school next year.

Thanks for helping with washing during the year and the extra boxes for our box art/construction table. The children have enjoyed receiving the home library books to take home and also sharing some of them at kinder together.

We have seen the children's confidence build, their social skills develop, and their sense of who they are and how they contribute to the world during the year and we are so proud of how much they have grown. Some of our favourite things has been buddy time, the drumming incursion, dream puppets, discussions about who we are and kindness, lots of building and working together and supporting the children's play as it became more complex, sharing understandings about First Australians, and most of all cooking, lots of cooking and eating together.

Have a lovely break and don't forget to have a few playdates along the way if you can, as they are good for everything!

We have loved being a part of your children's kindergarten year.

Thanks, Kirsty and Rex
