Principal News Flash

Stephanie Di Salvo, Dan Moloney & Eva Primarolo

Welcome back to all JSA families for a fantastic 2023 ahead, especially so in our 10th year!

A very big welcome to our new Grade Preps and new students and their families throughout all 3 sub-schools. Lovely for you to join our community.

As your Assistant Principals, we endeavour to work very hard with Corinne to ensure that your child's learning experiences are well-supported and highly engaging: developing the skills, knowledge and independence along the way.

In Term 1, it is an important time for our teachers and families to plan and establish learning goals for your children for Semester 1. Over the next weeks, we invite you to schedule the Student Support Group (SSG)meeting time to meet and 'get to know' your child's teacher and their team that will be doing all they can to provide for the most positive and safe learning environment for your child to thrive.

Sadly, our XUNO Parent Interview system required technical attention this term.

We are keen to have it up and running again in Term 2, and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Following these meetings, teachers will be collating your feedback and a range of assessment data to formulate suitable goals to both meet their needs and challenge them where appropriate. A copy of your child's Individual Education Plan will be forwarded to you on the last day of Term 1 (Thursday, 6th April).
