A message from our Principal

Dear St. Brendan's School Community,

A very warm welcome to all our students and Parents/Carer's to St. Brendan's.

It has been lovely to see the children settle so well into their classes.

The Foundation students have come in very excited and ready to learn.  A special welcome to them and their families and new students to our school.

Holiday works and Maintenance Update

It has been a busy time through January for cleaning and maintenance.

  • Carpets have been steam cleaned, windows washed inside and out.
  • Pulling down of the old Adventure Playground
  • All rooms have been cleaned
  • Boys toilets - New tiles and toilets

Major Project

It has been very exciting for children to see the work on our new playground.  The workmen have been working extremely hard to get the playground completed.  They will be working on Saturday as well, and hope to have it completed by early next week.

Teachers will then take out each class out to explain the rules of the new playground.  It certainly will be a great asset to our school.

Next school holidays, they will update the colored rubber area in front of the Learning Enrichment Room.

Sports Day

The following Units will have two days to wear sports uniform:

Juniors (Foundation - Year 2)

Tuesday and Wednesday

Middle Years (Year 3 and 4)

Wednesday and Thursday

Senior Years (Year 5 and 6)

Wednesday and Thursday

Full summer uniform will be worn on the other days when it is not a Sports Day.

Uniforms/Belongings

It is lovely to see children in their correct uniform.  Please ensure names are on jumpers, lunch boxes and drink bottles as we often have ones left outside and there are no names on them.
