From the Principal

Dear Parents/Caregivers
Welcome to Week 3 of Term 4.
Congratulations to our cricket team on a victorious start to the season. This is the first time in several years that we have fielded any team in an after hours competition. Our goal is to continue expanding our involvement in after hours activities in a variety of sports throughout the district. Thank you to Mrs Marino and Mr Barber for organising and coaching the team. Whilst on the subject of sport, good luck to our Athletics Squad who are competing in next week's Catholic Schools Athletics Carnival at SANTOS Stadium.
Our first Assembly for this term was hosted by the Year 3 class today. It was great to see and hear about the wonderful things happening in the year 3 class this term. Our next Assembly is on Thursday, November 12th commencing at 2:30 in the Sacred Heart Centre to be hosted by Miss Burton's and Miss French's classes. All community members are welcome to attend.
Unfortunately, in 2020 we are unable to conduct an end of year event as we have in previous years. Instead we will be having an Open House for all classes on the evening of Wednesday, November 25th. As well as having an opportunity to browse the classroom and work your child has done, all classes will record a couple of Christmas songs that will be looping in all rooms throughout the event. More information will be circulated closer to the day.
A reminder that there is a parent satisfaction survey on our website that can be found on the "Community" drop down box. It only takes 5 or so minutes to complete. Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete it.
School Fees To Reduce In 2021
We are pleased to announce that in 2021 we will be reducing our school fees.
We are mindful of the financial pressures being faced by many families and our new fee structure will include additional fee relief for families on lower incomes.
Our 2021 fee for a single student will be $2,300 which is a reduction of approximately $525. The fee for lower income families will now be $1,380.
All sibling discounts previously available, will still apply. Discounts for upfront payment of fees will not be offered in 2021. Extracurricular activities, excursions, camps, and uniforms will continue to be charged separately.
A full schedule of our fees is now available on our website.
The fee reduction will not impact the quality of education at our school. We will continue our commitment to the care, wellbeing and academic development of our students.
We wish to reassure all families that, where required, fee remissions will continue into 2021.
For more information please contact myself or Alison Boyce (Bursar).
For those planning a trip away at Christmas time, our final day for the school year is Wednesday, December 9.
Kind Regards
Sean Hill
Principal
