A message from our Principal
Dear Parents,
Thankyou to everyone for the extremely settled start to what will be a very busy, fast paced term. We are monitoring attendance daily and looking through our list of absent children. We ask parents to please contact the school if your child is away so that all absences are explained.
This week we celebrate Book Week and we are so excited to be dressing up on Friday. Even though we will not have a parade, all children K-6 are encouraged to dress up. The theme for this weeks book week is 'Curious Creatures, Wild Minds'. We look forward to seeing everyone dress up tomorrow.
School Planning 2021 – 2024
We commenced our school planning process for the next four years, last term and are presently reviewing the analysis of data we have collected. This will assist us in formulating our school goals and strategies for improvement. Community engagement is a critical factor for improving the progress, achievement and wellbeing of our students. When schools, families and the broader community work together to develop positive connections, students thrive. Our school is at the point of having completed our situational analysis. It is vitally important that we now engage with our school and wider community to seek feedback as we then finalise our Strategic Improvement Plan. We value our conversations with parents and children and would like to obtain your feedback and ideas. We are going to be using a variety of ways to collaborate with the community including surveys, phone calls and student/parent interviews. More information will be released in the coming week.
Kindergarten Transition
We are very excited that later this term we will welcome our 2021 Kindergarten students for their transition sessions. The program is invaluable in ensuring the children are feeling happy and confident about commencing school next year. The sessions will be held over a four week period from Monday 2nd November to Friday 27th November.
