To end the second week of term all boarding students had the opportunity to order pizza’s for supper on Thursday night. Thank you Amanda and Jody for organising!

Week 3’s weather forecast has been less than desirable, but the Junior Girls seemed to manage with some in home entertainment for activities, including UNO Flip, other board games and Mario Cart.

During Junior Girls down time they have had the opportunity to play some Just Dance! Senior Girls and their Supervisor Ms Vicki Bradford joined in with the Junior Girls for a bit of Just Dance fun,  Ms Bradford winning against Rory, Molly and Ellah!

Week 4 saw the girls enjoying the pool for the first time since winter. The water was quite cold. Only two girls ventured in to the water; the rest just enjoyed sitting on the side and soaking up the sun.

Junior Boys

As David Bowie sang “Turn to face the strange changes…..” (Album “Hunky Dory’, 1971)

This term has already seen changes with dinner and study times which have been well received.

We take this opportunity to thank Mr Mick McTaggett for his leadership at Mont Erin in the role of Junior Boys' Supervisor during this year. The boys are going to miss Mick’s energy, sport conversations, care and support. We welcome Mr Connor Galvin as the new part time supervisor. The phone number for the Junior Boys remains the same.

The rain in Week 3  meant time spent in dorms rather than out on the courts and oval. The boys have actually enjoyed the down time after school. It has been a time to chill and catch up with friends, play games or watch movies.

On return for Week 4 the weather had improved and so the first swim for the term took place. The water may have been chilly but some of the boys were brave enough to dive in and enjoy a different afternoon activity. This is also a reminder to make sure the boys have appropriate gear and a towel for swimming over the next weeks of term.

Week 4 had the first game of the State of Origin, and was a must watch for everyone. Go the Blues! (for next time)

Congratulations to Ronan on his inclusion in the winning team Tumut Tigers against Wagga United.
