This week we have been hampered by the weather which, considering our continued short supply is a necessary evil during our hay season. We hope the dams and catchments are getting some much needed rainfall before the hot weather commences. 

Provide First Aid

The First Aid course is nearing completion for our new Year 11 students. This course has a three year accreditation, so certificates should be stored safely once issued. The CPR component of this course is only current for a period of 12 months from the date of issue.

Patane

Today the second group of Year 10’s attended an excursion to Patane Produce to view their facilities and the progress that has been made in horticulture recently with technology and research. Our final excursion to Patane Produce will be next Thursday.

Ag Certificates

A reminder that Farm Focussed students who have not completed their Certificate II in Agriculture should see Mr Dyson so we can work on a plan during Week 7 to ensure that this is our focus. 

Farm Shorts

Next year on farm there will be NO option to wear shorts. Long pants and long sleeves will be COMPULSORY on farm AT ALL TIMES.

This change is in line with industry standards. You will find these changes in the new 2021 Uniform List.
