Reader's Workshop 

During Independent Reading time, Year 5/6 students have been enjoying reading texts across different platforms. Some students have enjoyed reading Kids News - (https://www.kidsnews.com.au/), while others have been listening to podcasts, including Brains On! ( https://www.brainson.org/episodes )

Writer's Workshop 

Students have also thoroughly enjoyed using their devices to publish their poetry they have been completing as part of our unit of work in Writer's Workshop. 

Integrated Studies 

As part of our unit of work on ANZAC, students have been using their research skills to develop a timeline of events that occurred during World War 1. 

We have also been scanning QR codes to watch short animations to discover more about the landing of the ANZACs at Anzac Cove in Gallipoli.
