End of Term Information

Our final day of term one, is next Thursday 1 April.

Please note our final day will conclude at 2:30pm - please be prompt for pick-up.

The first day of term two, is Monday 19 April.

Forthcoming events

We have an exciting and busy end to this term.  Next week is both the Athletics Sports Day on Wednesday at Llanberris Reserve, as well as the Ball Sports on Thursday morning at school.

More information is available in today's newsletter.

I'm very much looking forward to a great celebration of training in PE, for students to share their talents with family and friends.

Student Led Conferences

It is great to invite all families to student led conferences across Tuesday & Wednesday evenings.  They are significant for staff and parents, but especially for our wonderful students who have an opportunity to glow and share their learnings, with two or three of the most trusted adults in their world.

Thank you to everyone who was able to invest that time for their children and show how much you care.  You will get a great return on that investment, I'm certain.

Reading is Critical!

I wanted to emphasise this week, the significance and importance of reading with your child/ren consistently at home.

I cannot overstate the importance of reading and the profound effect it will have on the future success of your child/ren.  No matter their primary age (and secondary), enjoy reading with your child/ren!  No matter the duration or frequency, do it every chance.

Put simply, it matters.

Reading proficiently is the single most important indicator of future success, in all facets of life - please make sure you're doing your bit to secure a future full of optimism...

I acknowledge the First Peoples of the Wathaurong, who are the traditional custodians of the land and waters on which I work and live, and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
