Know what to do: Anaphylaxis & Asthma

Anaphylaxis and Asthma

Huntingtower is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment in which students at risk of anaphylaxis and/or asthma can participate equally in all aspects of school life.

Many of you will know someone who is affected by anaphylaxis, a life-threatening allergic reaction. The school does its best to be an allergy aware school. Staff receive training in allergy management and we have implemented strategies to help keep students at risk of anaphylaxis as safe as we can.

Huntingtower would like to raise awareness of anaphylaxis and asthma to its parent volunteers and those in the school community. Our aim is to make all parents aware of the signs and symptoms of a student having an anaphylactic reaction and/or asthma attack and how to act.

To learn more about anaphylaxis and asthma we would like to invite any Huntingtower parent to view two information videos on the Parent Firefly. We ask that you register your name once viewed.
