The 2021 House Athletics Carnival

The sun was shining, house spirit was everywhere you looked. I was reminded again of Huntingtower’s inclusive and supportive culture that encourages maximum participation. It was this community that created the electric atmosphere on the day of House Athletics.

Thank you to all staff, House Athletics Captains and parents who attended and took on official roles to support the various responsibilities needed for the largest carnival of the year.

Special thanks go to Track and Field Coaches, Heads of House, Sport Staff, Ms Beal, Mrs Hender, Mrs Buhagiar and my right arm, Mrs Deubel, for their work and preparation to ensure the event was a success and we could produce the exciting results for you today.

Congratulations to all students for earning points for your house, developing your skills and improving your performance. There were numerous personal best records which are amazing. Students also made great progress - this is something of which you should all be so proud.

Congratulations to the champions and those who set or broke records this year. Discus has been added to the record history book, which is very exciting.
