Year 2/3/4 'Farm to Table/Us' Showcase

This week we held our Showcase where all students presented their work to the whole school and their parents. Students said it was a great day, sharing their learning. 

On Monday I shared my Chicken Mural Presentation to most of the school students and parents and I felt happy because I loved sharing  what I had learnt.    Aleisha

I really liked sharing my presentation to the school and the parents.   Allie

First I was nervous when I was doing my presentation and then I felt more confident as I kept doing it to my friends in other classes and parents.   Jacob 

It was fun because all the parents and students got to see everyone's work.  Fortunato

When I was doing my presentation I was really excited about sharing what I had learnt about farms and my diorama of a farm.   Adam

I thought that I was going to be nervous but I wasn't because it was only one person at a time that listened to me.  Glendon

When I did my presentation and telling everyone about cows, I had to use all my breath and not rest because there were so many people that wanted to hear about my cows. Ishe

On Monday,  we did our Showcase. I was nervous and excited to show the whole school and parents what we had learnt. It was a fun day because we had to show everyone our mural or video or diorama. And they all looked great!  Enock

When we did our Inquiry Showcase, it was really a lot of fun to see the smiles on the little kids faces. I liked showing Connor, Bhavin and my project that we did.  Jaxon

I was really nervous about talking to everyone but it was really fun in the end.  Mia

I learnt that lots of herbs that are grown on farms can be made into medicine as well for putting them in foods. I enjoyed presenting at the Showcase because I learnt how to present in front of people.  Alex

When our Showcase was on, it was a good day because we explained what we had learnt to everyone in the school and to the parents as well. Everyone enjoyed it and I felt a bit nervous but it ended up going well.  Connor

We presented all that we had learnt about farm animals and how farms are important for us to survive. I enjoyed doing my presentation and getting to talk to people about my presentation.  Zane

I was a bit nervous about people listening to me, but in the end I talked more and more and told them lots of things about the farm and why farms are important.  Andrianna
