NEW - Anzac Day      

Every year Australians and New Zealanders commemorate ANZAC Day on the 25th of April. Anzac Day is a day about remembering the brave soldiers that fought at war, those who died and also those who came back. We commemorate Anzac Day on the 25th of April because it was the day the soldiers landed on the Gallipoli Peninsula in World War 1. On Anzac Day, there are ANZAC marches and ceremonies held all over. Poppies are the symbol of Anzac Day because they were the only flowers that grew on the battlefields. Each year St Mary’s participates in an annual Anzac Day March.

New - School Photos

Our school photos for 2021 will be taken by Arthur Read Photos on Wednesday 7th May. All students attending school on the day will have their photo taken and be included in their class photo.  

For ordering, every student will receive a flyer with an individual order code on the day.  This order code will be required for families to order images. 

New - St Mary's Open Day

New - Term 2 Active After School Program

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR TERM 2 for 2021 with Sporting Schools Program

After school program is Government funded Program run by St. Mary’s School through Sporting Schools Program. The program runs for 1 hour after school. The children are provided with a drink and fruit. The program will be offered for 7 weeks.

Each session starts at 3.45 and finishes at 4.45 p.m. The program is supervised at all times and an outside person runs the program. Each session can only take 25 children.

This term we are offering the following: 

Both activities will be Multi Games with Brodie Humphrey from Active At School; this will be held in the Marian Centre or Oval depending on the weather. 

WEDNESDAYS - starting on 12th May for 7 WEEKS

THURSDAYS - starting 13th May for 7 WEEKS

The children will meet Maree outside the Marian Centre straight after school and have fruit and a drink.
