Myrniong - ELC to Yr6

We have enjoyed an energetic and productive start to Term Three at Myrniong.  It was terrific to see so many smiling faces arrive on Tuesday morning.  The strong health protocols implemented towards the end of Term Two remain in place, with the following amendments;

*Before and After School Care have returned to the Early Learning Centre.

*Our Year Six Transition program at the Senior Campus will recommence, with Science, Food Technology and Music lessons on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

*Bus travellers are encouraged to wear face masks on longer journeys.

*Junior School lunch orders will recommence in Week Three.

I thank parents in advance for the support of our Return To School protocols.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Junior School.

Early Learning Centre Virtual Information Session

On Tuesday, July 21st, Director of Early Learning Centre Mrs. Frances O’Brien and I will present at a Virtual Information Session at 7.00 pm.  The session is aimed at 2021 Piccolo and Piccino families.  There will be time for interactive questions.

Amazon South West Sports Awards

Congratulations to the Junior School Hockey 7s Girls’ and Boys’ teams who took out the 2019/2020  Amazon Sports Star Awards for  ‘School Team of The Year’.  The online presentation was held in the first week of the holidays.  The awards are a celebration of the south west region’s most outstanding sporting achievements at grassroots to elite levels of performance.

College Value of Compassion

Earlier this year the Junior School received a ‘Fitbit’ and $200.00 Coles voucher as a thank you for our participation in the Southern Grampians Shire GenR8Change program.  The Junior School staff opted to donate these items to Mallacoota P-12 College, a school heavily impacted by the summer bushfires.
