Senior School

June 2020
What an interesting, yet stressful term we have had! Senior students have been working incredibly hard upon their return from remote learning and should be commended on their efforts. We have managed in the past couple of weeks to celebrate birthdays of those we missed during remote learning.
Due to COVID 19, we will finish Unit’s 1 & 3 at the end of week 2 in Term 3 .
Units 2 & 4 will begin in week 3 of Term 3.
The VCAA have provided the following information for all students of Units 3 & 4 subjects:
- General Achievement Test (GAT)
Wednesday 9 September - Performance and Languages oral examinations and Extended Investigation: oral presentations
Monday 12 October – Sunday 8 November - Languages (CCAFL) written examinations
Tuesday 20 October - Written examinations
Monday 9 November – Wednesday 2 December
We do not have a finish date for Year 12s at present. We do however, have the Valedictory Dinner booked for 3rd December. More details to follow.
Career Action Plans
Ms. Cutajar and Ms Taylor have begun working with Year 12 Home groups to finalise Career Action Plans. Year 11's will begin these soon. These assist students in planning for the future, and will be used to assist with tertiary applications.

UNIT 1 & 3 PROGRESS - AT RISK & SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION
Senior School has collated feedback from teachers. We have sent home letters to families of those at risk and those who are travelling well at present. We really appreciate your support. Study Hall and the Study Centre are available each night. Staff are on hand to assist. We also highly recommend continued use of Edrolo.
Enjoy the break. We look forward to a very productive Term 3.
