Term 3 Week 2

Welcome back to Term 3!

I would like to make a mention of the many students from varied age levels that have kindly extended their offer of help to the library, whether it be putting books away, tidying shelves or tidying furniture. These students have demonstrated great qualities and skills in wanting to help maintain our library space and ensuring it is tidy and welcoming for everyone who uses it. Thank you to these students for continuously offering their help. It makes a big difference when everyone respects our learning spaces.

BOOK CLUB

Issue 5 of the Scholastic Book Club is now out! All orders can be made online through the LOOP Platform. Orders are due Wednesday 12th August, Week 4.

Students can choose ANY FREE CHOICE books from their age range this year for the Premier's Reading Challenge. Please submit completed sheets to the library or class teachers.

A huge well done to those students who have already handed in their Premier's Reading Challenges! It is great to see such a keen passion for reading at Lockleys North. Remember, there is still plenty of time to finish your challenge. The due date is Friday September 4th, Week 7 of Term 3.
