Emmanuel College News

We have mentioned before about value we place in delivering our extensive transition program, it has delivered a smooth transition for so many students from primary to secondary school. Equally as important is the relationships that we encourage between our students and those in our feeder primary schools. During the year, we work closely with our feeder schools to determine what value add experiences we can share for the students of both schools. During the past 12 months we have partnered in science programs, soccer clinics, music and performing arts workshops and social justice projects just to name a few. These partnerships provide the primary school students with the opportunity to aspire as leaders within their own school and within Emmanuel when they arrive.

Please use the link below to watch a conversation between friends from our school and one of our feeders, these are crucially important relationships to build.

We hope you enjoy the conversation.

Also, just a reminder that the closing date for applications for enrolment in Year 7, 2022 has been extended until 9 October 2020. Even though this date has been extended, we are encouraging families to submit applications as soon as possible. Prospectus Packs containing an application form can be requested from the College Website, www.ecmelb.catholic.edu.au under the enrolment information tab, or by contacting the College Registrar at enrolments@ecmelb.catholic.edu.au or calling on 8325 5119

St Aloysius News

Due to the restrictions and changes COVID19 has brought to the community, the enrolment dates for 2022 have been amended to allow families more time to submit an enrolment. Please see attached amended dates. I ask that you share this with your community.

We understand that many families may not have visited the College in person so I encourage families to register to attend our virtual tour available on our website or to contact me directly for information. I am happy to speak with families individually to provide them with the information they need.

It is an uncertain time for many, so if there is anything we can do to support the families in your community please reach out.

Stay safe.

Kind Regards,

Jodie McLeod
