Wellbeing News

During remote learning the students have done a lot of work on gratitude and things that they are grateful for. As you can see our children have certainly got the character strength of Gratitude. Here is a sample of some of our children's comments.

I’m grateful for the world

My teacher and my parents for both being so supportive

My home

Google meets

Walking with my family

Food

Mums help

All the teachers that work with us and make lessons for us

Having my mum help me when I don’t understand stuff

Playing games

Xbox

Doing good work

We aren’t sick

Grateful for my house

I am grateful I have a playstation and an iPad

I am grateful for God

Take care

GEM TV

GEM TV is an additional wellbeing resource on TRP@HOME designed to support the mental health of students. The Resilience Project's Martin Heppell will host daily 20 minute episodes which will put a different evidence-based principle linked to positive mental health in the spotlight.

Come along in Season 1, airing from the 27th of July - 19th of August, as Martin explores Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness, Emotional Literacy and Connection, and discover the simple and creative ways we can implement these in our day-to-day routines.

Each week we will attach an episode to the newsletter. Here is episode 1 on gratitude.
