Dear Families,
Welcome to Book Week! We had a terrific day on Monday. So heartening to see our students dress up and enthusiastically immerse themselves in a variety of book week activities.
My thanks in particular to Marg Klupacs and Maryanne Denning for their organisation and to all parents for your support.(See Book Week page for further details).

Green and Brown Thumbs Garden Club
Did you know that the Green and Brown Thumb Garden Club celebrate their 20th year Anniversary this year? What an achievement! The group has, over the years, done an amazing job for our Parish and School Community. Each month they have generously shared their skills and expertise with some of our students from Years 3-4 who have formed part of our Student Garden Club.
This Monday 27th August our school will acknowledge the Green and Brown Thumbs at a special assembly to be held in the Parish Hall at 11:40am. All welcome!
Out of School Hours Care
The OHSC is moving from the Scanlon Building to the Performing Arts Area in the Brigidine Building on TUESDAY 4th September. (If there is a change to this date we will let you know.)
The service will continue in the Scanlon Centre until this date.
The service operates from 6.30am -8.30am and from 3:15pm-6:30pm.
Parents will be able to park in the basketball area between the Hall and the Brigidine building to drop off and pick up your child. You will access the service from the south side entrance of the Brigidine near the back of the library.
Student 2019 Re-enrolment
Your child brought home today a re-enrolement form which is to be completed and returned to school by Friday 31st August.
This is important for our planning of the 2019 classes.
P & F Father's Day Stall
Thank you to our P & F who will run our Father's Day Stall on Tuesday 28th August in the Parish Hall.
All gifts are $5.00 each and orders must be in by MONDAY 27th AUGUST via CDF Pay.
P&F Meeting
Our next meeting is planned for Friday week 31st August at 2:15pm in the Reception Board Room.
Please RSVP if you are attending. If we do not get enough takers the meeting will be cancelled.
Discussion will be around:
- What a P&F looks like?
- Possible P&F committee structure.
- Ideas for Fundraisers and Social Events.

Please RSVP to our Parent Night to be held in the Performing Arts Area on Tuesday 28th August beginning at 6:30pm.
This is a very important night.
Babysitting will be available.
