Thanks VCAL Students for Helping us to Celebrate Shrove Tuesday in 2019

Our VCAL students worked hard on Tuesday to provide over 800 pancakes for our College community.  Under the guidance of Mrs Downie and Tracey in the new kitchen and cafe, students cooked up batch after batch of fluffy pancakes.

The Foundation Students came through the cooking area to check out the cooking talents of the VCAL team. In the photos below you can see them stirring the batter and checking out how the cooking facilities work in the new kitchen.

A big thank you to the College Social Justice Leaders Georgia and Chloe.  Another big thank you to the  Year 8 Leaders who showed amazing talent in getting everyone and everything organised:  Sam and Tess, Gargayee and Charlotte, Dylan and Lily and Joel and Katherine.  It was great to see Fr Jinjo who came over to offer his support and chat with our students and parishioners, Amy and Phill, who put toppings on at least 500 pancakes today!

We made $511.35  for Caritas' Project Compassion!
