Harvest Mass - this Sunday, 10th March

Celebration and thanksgiving for the harvest are

known in every time and culture.

As Jesus and his people celebrated the 'Feast of Ingathering' or 'the 'Feast of Tabernacles' and shared with the poor from their harvest, we also celebrate and collect for those in need.

People may like to join this Sunday’s entry procession and lay items of non-perishables like a

can, jar, or packet at the altar for the St. Vincent de Paul Society to distribute.

After Mass, please feel free to swap and share

items of produce from the trading table.

And, of course, do stay for our brunch following

Mass.

Thank you to everyone who has helped and given to make our harvest celebration enjoyable.

Christian Harvest prayer

The earth is fruitful – may we be generous.

The earth is fragile – may we be gentle.

The earth is fractured – may we be just.

The earth needs care – may we be kind.

Creator God, harvest in us joy and

generosity as we share together

in thanks and giving.
