Highlights for Term 3

Industry Exploration

The Year 11s continue to study the integrated topic, Industry Exploration.  It focuses on identifying industries within our community, exploring what kind of work they do, and the pathway that is required to work in that industry. Students delve into specific industries where they might find future employment. 

The classes have been identifying industries of where they may like to work.  They have organised visits to works sites and have interviewed people that work there in order to find out tasks that are undertaken and the pathway you need to take to work in the industry.  McDonalds, Bunnings, WaterMarc, Kmart Tyre & Auto, Target and Wilderness Wear are just a few of the businesses that the Year 11s have investigated and been on site visits.
