Physical Education & Sport
Physical Education:
This fortnight the preps, grade 1 & 2’s have been focusing on fair play and understanding the importance of following rules, sharing and taking turns and using our bodies and equipment safely. The 3 & 4’s have worked collaboratively and suggested changes to games to make them fair and more inclusive for everyone to enjoy. Lastly, the grade 5 & 6’s have been practicing badminton skills such as the short hand serve, forehand and backhand lift as well as tactics they can implement to give them the upper hand against their opponents.
Netball Clinic:
On Monday the 21st of February Casey Netball Association were kind enough to give our 3-6 students an introductory clinic all about netball. The students really enjoyed their time and learnt new skills! On Monday the 28th Casey Netball Association will be back to run clinics with our grade 2’s!
If anyone is at all interested in their child participating in netball out of school hours please feel free to check their website at https://www.caseynetball.com/ for more information.
Cross Country:
On Friday the 4th March Grayling Primary School will have the students participate in the annual cross country.
