SGSMP - Music Recruitment Session

On Tuesday 8th, the Year 7 students took part in a Music Recruitment session learning about the Instrumental Music Program and the instruments we offer as part of the SGSMP. 

We are offering a 10% discount on lessons this year – Lessons/ Band are only $277.20 for the year! (not including hire) . This is an incredibly cheap opportunity and I would encourage any student who is interested to sign up today!

YEAR 9/10 MUSIC PRODUCTION

In this subject students learn about the Production side of Music. Focusing on Songwriting and Arranging, using DAW’s (Digital Audio Workstations) and Notation programs. For this term they have been focusing on their “Like a Version” arrangement CAT. Students choose an existing song and create a cover of that in their own interpretation. They may choose to perform their cover live or present a notated score of their arrangement. Lots of unique and interesting work happening on their interpretations at the moment! Well done Year 9/10’s!
