~ Every Child Known, Encouraged, Challenged ~

Dear Parents and Friends of St Brendan’s,

I hope that all the dads, grandfathers and special friends of our students enjoyed a beautiful weekend where we celebrate the many great things these men do for children. Our children were delighted with the opportunity to shop at our Father’s Day stall. Thank you again to Cindy Bryant and her band of brilliant helpers.

It was just a beautiful experience to be part of our Father’s Day Breakfast on Friday morning. So many dads, grandfathers and other special men joined our students for some really special bonding time. I extend a huge thank you to the brilliant staff of St Brendan’s who came to cook, serve and clean up as well as to teach a full day’s program. I’m sure you’ll agree that we are blessed to have a staff such as this.

Child Safety Code of Conduct for the School Community

This week you will receive a copy of the Child Safety Code of Conduct for the School Community. Please read the policy and sign the agreement located on the second page. Please note that we require each parent to sign their own copy. Thank you for your support in helping us keep all the children at St Brendan’s safe.

School Discos

The school discos at St Brendan’s have been extremely popular over the last few years. This Friday, they are happening again in our multi-purpose room. The Junior Disco is for children in Foundation to Year Two. It will run from 4:00 pm till 5:30 pm. The Senior Disco will run from

6:00 pm till 7:30 pm. Please encourage your children to dress in their dancing clothes and come along. Please send children with their own water bottles. We are doing this in an attempt to reduce the use of disposable plastic cups. The children who bring their own drink bottles will receive a raffle ticket and will be eligible to win a prize. Parent helpers are most welcome to come along. Working With Children Checks are required. I look forward to seeing you there.

Spring has Sprung at St Brendan's

Have a great week.
