Introducing our New Staff

Hasnaa Hamid - Prep D Teacher

Hi everyone!

I am so excited to start my journey as a Foundation teacher at South Melbourne Park Primary School! I have come from a primary school in Noble Park and have worked there for the past 5 years. I loved every year of working at my previous school however, I recently moved houses which meant I had to sadly say goodbye to my class and colleagues. I have taught Grades 4, 5 and 6 previously and I am so excited to be teaching Foundation students over the next semester.

If you have any questions or would simply like to say hello, please do not hesitate to pop into my classroom or send me an email.

I cannot wait to meet you!

Emily Paine - STEM Teacher

Hi SMPPS Families.

I have joined the South Melbourne Park specialist team this term as the first STEM teacher – Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. It’s incredibly exciting to be building a new program from the ground up, and such an honour to be part of this new school.

I’m originally from the UK, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. I then completed my Masters degree in Teaching over here in Melbourne, at the University of Melbourne. I am passionate about STEM and am looking forward to working with my future scientists and nurturing their curious, questioning minds.

Nat Brass - Literacy Support

Hello,

I’m Nat and I am thrilled to be a member of the South Melbourne Park teaching team. My role will be to provide literacy support for students. I am a passionate and enthusiastic teacher and have recently completed a Masters in Inclusive and Special Education which has brought with it a great deal of knowledge and new energy which I am looking forward to sharing.  I am naturally curious and have a love of teaching and learning. I’m really looking forward to getting to know the school community.
