Class of 2014 Reunion

The Class of 2014 had a fabulous reunion on Saturday 7th September. Old Girtonians had much to catch up on since graduating and reconnected for a night of friendship and fun.

 

These past students are doing all manner of wonderful things from Accounting, Teaching, Graphic Design and Truck Driving to Dentistry, Copywriting and studying Paramedicine and Law.

OGA Departing Girtonian Scholarship

Applications now open for Year 12 students

 

The $2,000 scholarship is awarded each year to students who display good all-round commitment to the school’s values and who epitomise what it is to be a departing Girtonian with positive relationships, a commitment to life-long learning, leadership skills, resilience, spirituality and a commitment to social responsibility. The scholarship aims to support a departing student and as such, the needs and opportunities for each applicant will be considered.

The scholarship is open to current Girton Grammar Year 12 students who meet the following criteria:

  • Life Membership to the OGA
  • A demonstrable commitment and enthusiasm across all aspects of the school curriculum
  • A demonstrable commitment and enthusiasm in co-curricular activities
  • A demonstrable commitment and enthusiasm to community service activities

 

The successful applicant will receive scholarship funds of $2,000 to be used for activities that relate directly to further education, professional development, travel, volunteer abroad and gap year programs and will be payable to the provider of the goods or services after provision of a valid Tax Invoice/Quotation.
