We hope that you are all doing OK. The teachers have noticed the students getting tired but they still continue to join the Google Meets and give us smiles and make us laugh. Chloe from 34E and her family made special R U OK soup on Thursday.

Another Online Incursion - Thursday 16th September

We loved on online incursion so much we are having another next week. This one is about healthy water ways which is relevant to us with our close proximity to the Yarra River. Please help your student collect the things that they will need to follow along with the experiment on Thursday.

Build a Creek Experiment Equipment 

Materials Needed: 

tsp =teaspoon tbsp=tablespoon 

1 x Clear bowl or bucket. 

1 Litre of tap water 

 2 sheets of toilet paper 

 30ml of water with 1 drop of yellow dye

 30ml of water with 1 drop of blue dye 

30ml of water with 1 drop red dye

1 tsp of coarse salt 

  Dishwashing liquid – a few drops  

 5 x small stones and 1tbsp of sand 

 4 x leaves and 10 x blades of grass

 4 x small sticks 

 4-6 x small lolly wrappers  

 4 x tbsp of mud/dirt 

 And a stirring stick collected from the garden – not too big but not too small – one just right for your bowl/bucket!
