Prep

Superhero Day

The Preps finished off Term 3 in style, celebrating the Big Idea of Power by dressing up as their very own superhero. Our students created masks, capes and symbols and shared their mission as a super person- they were out to help others and the world!

If our Prep superheroes have anything to do with it...every piece of rubbish in Wonga Park will be picked up, every animal will be cared for and every person will be hugged. Watch out!

Thanks for an amazing end to Term 3 Preps. It was a delight!

Prep Transition

Last week we began our 2022 Prep Transition,  a video and activity pack were sent out to all future Preps. 

Our 2022 Preps were introduced to Mrs Crawford and the Prep Teachers, they also enjoyed  '5 Little Ducks'... a classic! Welcome 2022 Preps, your work looks beautiful! 

Level 3 & 4

To end a fantastic term of Remote Learning, the Grade 3s and 4s had their virtual camp this week. On the first day, everyone set up a special camping spot. Some made secret dens in their bedrooms, and some set up tents in the garden (and quite a few tents inside).

We started the day with a Kahoot quiz, biscuit decorating and a tour of Weribee Zoo! In the evening, the students joined their teachers for a special story time and hot chocolate together. Afterwards, they went for a night time walk and saw possums and lots of other creatures!

On day two, the students were treated to yummy mud cakes and a dance class! They completed a scavenger hunt, learnt about frogs, made origami penguins and then visited the Penguin Parade! What a busy day!

On our final day of Term 3, we have had a talent competition, a live ranger talk on Australian animals and finally a dance party! The teachers have absolutely loved seeing everyone get involved and sharing their experiences from home and we certainly couldn't have done it without the endless enthusiasm and assistance from our awesome parents. Congratulations on a fantastic term everyone!!
