Pantry Drive

Can you donate a bag of groceries for people in need?

The third Pantry Drive Hobart for St Vincent de Paul will be held on Saturday 4 September, where boxes of unused pantry goods will be collected from doorsteps across Hobart and given to those people and families most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Anyone who has non-perishable items can register online to have these collected from their doorstep on 4 September, and following this St Vincent de Paul will distribute them.

Sacramental preparation - First Reconciliation

Parents and carers of children of St John's Parish, Glenorchy who wish to prepare for the Sacrament of First Reconciliation are invited to attend an information meeting on Wednesday 8 September at 7.00pm in the parish meeting room

The Church requires that children have made their First Reconciliation before celebrating the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion.

If you think your child is ready to take this step in their faith journey, please contact Marie Aitken on 0472 545 919 or the Parish Office on 6272 6363 to register your interest or for further information.
