Junior School

We have been enjoying Book Week over the past several days and, depending on where you were and when, you may have encountered Elsa from Frozen, Scrappy from Goosebumps or maybe even Dr Seuss’ Cat in the Hat! Sharing stories over story time has been fun also. It’s a little strange sharing a picture book over Zoom and I must say my own technique needs work, but this is just another fine example how we ALL are developing new digital skills in this period of remote learning, primary principals included!

Thank you for the feedback we continue to receive, both constructive and appreciative. Kind words are very powerful, as you know as parents. They are powerful and affirming for teachers, too, and help to boost morale and energise. Certainly let us know when something has gone awry, but I can’t tell you the boost it gives the teachers when they too receive positive feedback.

Our Wellbeing Wednesdays kicked off this week so I hope your children found something to do that helped feed their wellbeing. If you have any great stories or pics, please share them, and be sure to stay safe and connected over the final few weeks of school. As always, please contact us at school if we can be of assistance and support.
