Year 7 News

A new year and 384 new Year 7’s descended into the school. It was a fantastic start. Eager and excited faces greeted us from the bus stop and students confidently made their way up to the Year 7 area.

It was wonderful to see everyone in uniform and equally as exciting to see the students adapting so quickly to their new environment. Mr King has started calling them the army because we are such a big cohort.

Classes started straight away and although tired by the end of the first week, the students let us know that they were happy and coping with all the new information they had to learn. Overall, it has been a very promising beginning to their secondary schooling.

Congratulations to all of our Year 7's for such a fantastic start.
