Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day

On Monday 11th November was Remembrance Day, a day in which people world-wide stop to remember the people that have fought in the wars for their countries. At College, each year level had a Remembrance Day ceremony that was held in the auditorium. A select few of St James College students were also given the privilege to go to a ceremony held by the Bentleigh RSL.

This was a unique opportunity to remember the brave soldiers along side people of all ages. Present among the crowd were several primary and secondary schools from the Bentleigh community as well as representatives from the council and SES. Despite being a bit windy, it was a good experience to listen to some stories and commemorate these brave people.
