Term 3

With the arrival of our hens the Grade 3 and 4 students are learning about using eggs in the Kitchen.  Last week they examined an egg and discovered that there is a ‘skin’ beneath the shell. They poked and prodded the raw egg, noticing that the white has different parts to it. After beating their egg and adding spring onion, spinach, parsley, chilli or capsicum for flavour, each child cooked their own scrambled egg. YUM!
