Congratulations to our students for their strenuous efforts at our House Athletics on August 2nd; and thank you again to our family volunteers who assisted to ensure this day ran smoothly due to their contributions.

District Athletics

All of our Grade 5/6 students, and qualifying Grade 3 and 4 students, will now compete in the District Athletics at the Bill Sewart Athletics Track on Tuesday 2nd September.  Back up dates for this event are – Thursday 8th September or Monday 12th September or Tuesday 13th September.  Only one of these back up dates will be used.  More information should have been received by families via Compass about this event.

Softball Incursion

In Grade 3/4 Physical Education classes last week students were involved in a softball incursion with Danielle Rigg from Softball Australia and Sheryl-Anne from the Syndal Softball Club.

All students took home a flyer detailing future softball clinics at the Syndal Softball club.  Please, refer to the end of our Newsletter for further information.  Anyone aged 4 to 10 is able to participate.  If you wish your child to join another softball club, Sheryl-Anne said students are welcome to come to the Syndal clinics.
