This week in 5/6 we have been analysing and writing persuasive texts. Students were given a piece of writing and were set the challenge to improve it using the persuasive devices we have been learning about. For example using emotive language, facts/statistics supported by evidence and modal verbs such as ‘must’, ‘will’ and ‘should’.
