Principals' Update

Heidi

On Wednesday this week, Keith’s therapy dog, Heidi came to CNPS for the first time. She met with the Foundation students and, along with Keith, helped them to learn about safety around dogs. Heidi will be working up to coming in a few days a week. She loved meeting everyone, and was very worn out on Wednesday night from all of the pats!

Masks

We want to thank everyone in the community for supporting mask wearing at school following the communications earlier this week. Cases are expected to continue to rise for some weeks, and mask wearing within our school will assist in reducing possible transmission.

Kidney Kar Rally Launch

Next Wednesday 27th of July, Kidney Health Australia will be launching their annual Kidney Kar Rally to raise funds and awareness for kidney health in Australia. While details are still being finalised, there will be a racing car on site that morning and we anticipate that Channel 9 will be filming a short news segment to promote the rally.

Alice’s Art

If you have booked your child in for a session at Alice’s on Rathdowne it is essential that you let your child’s teacher know (via email) that they are booked to attend. The service is not affiliated with the school or the Department of Education, so in order to ensure a Child Safe environment, we need permission from parents to release your child into the care of someone else. Any questions about this can be directed to Keith.
