A big congratulations to all rowers on a fantastic performance at our All Schools State Championships last Saturday. John XXIII can be very proud of finishing overall second in the State. Incredible effort, especially considering the challenging nature of the season.

Strength and Conditioning for Rowers
To best support our Rowers in the off season, Strength and conditioning sessions will continue this term and next term. Training days are as follows:
- Monday 3:30pm – 4:30 pm Females ONLY
- Wednesday 3:30pm – 4:30pm Males ONLY
Decisions regarding more trainings will be made after numbers are confirmed for the following sessions.
End of season wind up
Plans are still underway and rowing families are encouraged to pencil in 17 September for our wind up event. This event will also include all of our Rowing Awards for the season.
House Regatta
Our final rowing event will be held on Saturday, September 17th. This event will commence at 8:00am sharp and will likely conclude at 11:00am.
This event is a fun morning where our rowing program enjoy a final event with the inclusion of our new Year 8 Rowers help in our respect with our House Spirit.
Parents will also have an opportunity to get out on the water and row.
We will select crews and notify everyone of their race times through the Teams App and our weekly newsletter
Senior Rowers reminder
Senior rowers remember, you will be coaching a Year 8 Crew. I will notify you which crews you will be coaching so please see me asap if you cannot make it.
