9 ADVANCE

The students in the year 9 ADVANCE program worked with Revive2survive on Friday the 11th of August to complete their CPR and First aid qualification. Students spent 4 hours learning how to administer slings and bandages, how to correctly administer CPR to conscious and unconscious casualties as well as how to use an EpiPen and Ventolin for someone suffering from anaphylaxis or an asthma attack. At the end of the incursion, students completed a 41-question test which consolidated their understanding of everything they learnt throughout the day.
