JAPANESE DAY SPECIAL LUNCH- Thursday 3 November

In conjunction with Japanese Day on Thursday 3 November, the canteen is offering a special lunch of a sushi with a green ice-tea ice-cream for only $6!

Extra sushi will also be available to order.

The lunch must be ordered on Qkr! by Friday 28 October.

CALL FOR MORE VOLUNTEERS

The MPS canteen operates Tuesday to Friday for lunch orders and is also open at recess and lunchtimes for students to buy icypoles and snacks.

The canteen is still looking for assistance in serving students at lunchtimes, and on Fridays, assistance is required for preparing lunch orders.

Any help no matter how small would be greatly appreciated.

For those of you who have not volunteered before, please note the following:

All volunteers need a Working with Children Check card.

These are free for volunteer status and are valid for five years.

Please make sure that the office has a copy of your WWCC and that you have signed a Child Safe Code of Conduct form (also at the office). WWCC can be applied for online and are processed at the Post Office.

As soon as you have a receipt of your application lodgment, you are able to volunteer immediately.

Proof of receipt will be required to be shown at the office.

It is no longer a requirement to be triple vaccinated to volunteer. We welcome any volunteers who are able to spend an hour or two to help out in the canteen.
