Senior School Athletics and Cross-Country Presentation Evening

Parents/carers and boys are reminded that the Athletics and Cross-Country Presentation Evening will take place this evening (Wednesday 12 October) in the Robson Auditorium. Boys are asked to arrive by no later than 7:00 PM for a 7:15 PM start. Boys are to ensure that they wear their full College winter uniform and have their school shoes polished. Attendance is compulsory.

The College kindly requests that no visitors attending the event park in Hydebrae Street (which runs at ninety degrees from Francis Street and the Senior Library) at any time.  Its narrowness makes resident parking difficult and non-resident parking can present a safety risk by preventing the access of emergency vehicles.

Summer Coaching positions

Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified and experienced cricket, basketball and baseball coaches for the upcoming Summer season. Trials have commenced and the season will conclude on 18 March 2023. The Junior School is also embarking on a sports developmental program commencing Term 4. As such, the College is seeking coaches who have experience in coaching a wide range of sports.

Essential to these roles:

  • Must possess a valid NSW Driver Licence and have access to a vehicle
  • Experience in sports coaching along with relevant accreditation is highly advantageous
  • Current First Aid certificate is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to lead and manage adolescents
  • Willing to work mornings and/or afternoons and Saturdays
  • Possess a valid Working with Children Check for paid employment or be willing to apply for one upon request
  • It is a requirement of employment to be fully vaccinated (2 doses) for COVID-19.

Successful applicants will have a proven track record of reliability, punctuality, experience in their chosen sport. A desire and passion to work with young boys to better their holistic experience along with an appreciation of the College ethos are essential.

Come and share in our Vision of “providing opportunities for excellence and fullness beyond the classroom.”
