COMMUNICATION

Communication must be HOT. That's honest, open and two-way...

We encourage open communication between all members of the school community.

  • An Information Night is held during Term 1.
  • A Parent Teacher Information Exchange meeting is conducted in Term 1.
  • Formal Parent/Teacher Interviews are conducted early in Term 3.
  • Class Newsletters are provided termly, outlining the curriculum and special events for the grade.
  • Class Memos are sent out via SeeSaw, outlining the events and any special information needed for the following week.
  • School Newsletter released fortnightly - subscribe https://newsletters.naavi.com/p/6M17ajN/subscribe
  • Student Reports are provided twice per year in June and December.
  • Parent workshops are offered throughout the year.
  • Parents are advised of class structures for the following year in early December, when the students attend an orientation morning with their new grade.

Grievances

We strongly recommend that parents support the school, particularly in front of their children and raise any issues with their child’s teacher in the first instance, and then, if necessary, with the Principal. See Community Grievance Policy for further information.  Children benefit when parents and teachers support each other.
