Dear families,
Thank you to the families who supported the Hot Cross Bun Fundraiser. We were able to raise over $300, we will discuss with school leadership what this can be spent on.
Thank you to the parents who assisted in packing the orders for them to be sent home with students on Wednesday.
The Parents Social Night held on Friday, 24th March 2023 at Teller was another enjoyable night - so much so that we didn't get any photos! Come and join us next term for a great night out.
Well done to the students on their fantastic Easter colouring. Paula will announce winners of prizes on Friday, 31st March 2023.
Planning is underway for Term 2 activities - let us know if you have any ideas!
We have welcomed some new committee members. Welcome to Pat Goyne and Keira Peatling. They join Katie Mills and myself on the committee. Thank you to these members of our school community for their support and assistance.
Please consider volunteering some time to assist with P&F activities. Get in contact if you have any questions or ideas.

Easter colouring competition
Congratulations to all the students on their wonderful colouring in the Easter Colouring Competition.
The P&F was again proud to provide a prize for each class. Winners will be announced this Friday, 31st March by Paula.
Hot Cross Bun Fundraiser
We hope everyone enjoys their yummy hot cross buns that were sent home with students yesterday. With the support of the school community we have raised over $300.
Thank you to the helpers who packed the hot cross buns in the School Hall on Wednesday ready to be sent home.
RIDE TO SCHOOL DAY
Well done to the families who actively travelled to school last Wednesday. The weather cleared to have a nice day for getting to school in an active way - whether by bike, scooter, walking or other methods.
If you weren't able to participate last week, try leaving home a bit earlier another day to get to school in an active way.
Being active in the morning is a great way to start the day and great for the environment.

Next P&F Meeting
The P&F Meeting will be scheduled early in Term 2 - notification will be sent to families when a date is set.
More involvement from families in our school community is needed to plan and assist with school events and fundraisers.
Meeting days and times can vary to suit families if needed, previously evening meetings have also been held. Please get in contact to advise if there is a more suitable meeting time for you.

Register to be a volunteer
If you have a few hours to spare during the year and would like to get involved in the school community please register your interest to be involved as a parent helper through the P&F.
You can register your interest via email parentsandfriends@sbshepparton.catholic.edu.au.

Volunteers must hold a current Working With Children’s Check. These details must be supplied to the school office to also be held confidentially. WWCC’s are free for volunteers, you can apply through the Working With Children Check Victoria website.
