Arts & Technology Update

This term in Drama, our Year 7 and 8 students have been exploring the theme of empathy through performance.  This unit is new for 2023 and was developed in response to PIVOT data to draw a stronger link between classroom learning and real life.  Through role-play, students explore emotions and practise scenarios which involve perspective taking, compassion and empathetic listening.

This work leads towards a mini-performance, where they are assessed on their understanding of Performance Skills, Expressive Skills and developing work based on a selected theme.
